Day Programs

SGSCC Day Programs and courses can get you where you want to go, through building skills, developing social networks and connecting with your community.

Our Day Program locations are in Loftus and Jannali, which includes Bransgrove, Elouera and Options areas. Our College based programs also occur in a range of places around the St George and Sutherland Shire areas. 

SGSCC disAbility is an approved provider of the following funded programs, (please note not all of these programs may be available to new clients):

Community Participation Programs (18 - 25 years)

The Community Participation Program aims to assist people with moderate to exceptional support needs achieve their goals, increase their independence and participate as valued and active members of the community. This program may also provide an alternative to paid employment and further education in the medium to long term.

Community Participation Centre Based - In the Centre Based Program people with a disability participate in a range of day activities provided in our centre at Jannali and also have access to community activities.

Community Participation Individual Community Based - With support participants design their own program of activities in a range of community settings. 

Community Participation Self Managed - This is where individualised funding allows you flexibility and choice. SGSCC disAbility helps you plan the things you want to do. You manage the money with the help of SGSCC disAbility. You also manage more things yourself, such as the people who work with you and your budget.

Transition to Work;

The Transition to Work Program aims to assist people to:

  • Develop prevocational skills and work readiness
  • Acquire the work and social skills and confidence to enable them to make the transition to employment or study

Life Choices Program (for 25+ years)

The Life Choices Program is for adults aged 25 to 54 years. The Life Choices Program will help you to: 

  • Be included in activities you enjoy in the community;
  • Learn to do new things and increase your independence;
  • Create opportunities and pathways to help you achieve your short and long term goals; and
  • Make friends with people who share similar interests.

Life Choices Centre Based - where clients participate in a range of day activities provided in the centre at Jannali. Most activities are conducted in small groups of people who share similar goals and interests.

Life Choices Individual Community Based - where clients design their own program of activities in a range of community settings, with the support of SGSCC disAbility. The participant’s program makes the best possible use of mainstream supports and opportunities available to all community members.

Active Ageing Program (55 - 64 years)

The Active Ageing Program is a flexible day program for people aged 55 to 64 and people with early onset ageing. The Active Ageing Program will help you to:

  • Enjoy an active and healthy older life;
  • Continue to be included in activities you enjoy in the community and remain independent;
  • Learn to do new things and develop your skills and interests;
  • Make friends with people who share similar interests; and
  • Plan for your future and for older life.

Fee for Service
